Which of these two terms would describe your Christian walk; Survive or Thrive? Too many Christ followers live their lives just trying to survive. When faced with trials or difficutlies we hunker down and hope to wait it out or just surivive until the whistle blows. That is not only un-scriptural, it is selling short the promises and calling of God on your life. In our study, John reminds us that through faith in Christ victory, we can also have victory - in every circumstance and situation. Victory is not a life without problems, but found in how we handle the problems we face. It is time we claim the promises of God and live up to our calling as Overcomers!
