Show Notes

We continue our examination of the Apostle Paul's teaching about the Lord's Supper or Communion to the Corinthian Church from 1st Corinthians 11:23-34. This passage can be somewhat controversial as it has led many Christians and Christ follower's to abstain from participating in Communion for fear they might come in an "unworthy" manner. Was that really Paul's intent? Can we ever be "worthy" or pay "proper" respect to the meaning and purposes of this special event? Or was Paul simply reminding us that our behavior towards other Christians in the church will always affect our relationship with God and our ability to worship. Join us as we search for some Biblical answers and personal application from this "confusing" passage of scripture.
